Rubii offers powerful features for mapping line items, helping you efficiently track and categorize various marketing data points such as campaign performance, ad spend, and conversion metrics. You can choose to map line items manually or use an auto-mapping feature to streamline the process.
Manual Line Item Mapping
Manual mapping gives you direct control over how your data is organized. Follow these steps to map line items for your campaigns.
- Login to Rubii and on the left-hand side panel, select Tracker.
- Select the campaign name you need to work on and click the Edit or pencil icon.
- You'll be routed to the Campaign page. Scroll down until you see the Create Placement section. On the right side of the placement, click the Map icon.
- Select the line items from the left side of the screen.
Auto-Mapping with a Map ID
To streamline the mapping process for new campaigns, Rubii offers an auto-mapping feature using a unique Map ID. This eliminates the need for repetitive manual mapping and ensures seamless data integration.
How Auto-Mapping Works
When a **Map ID** is added to a campaign name from an external platform (e.g., Google Ads), Rubii automatically maps those placements to the corresponding campaigns and placements within Rubii.
Steps to Set Up Auto-Mapping
- Create a campaign and its placements in Rubii. Once done, look for the Map ID at the bottom portion of the page.
- Add the Map ID to your external campaign names.
- Allow Rubii to pull data. This process happens automatically, provided your data sources are correctly configured and integrated.
Tips for Success
- Ensure that each **Map ID** is unique to avoid mapping errors.
- Double-check that the **Map ID** in the campaign name exactly matches the one in Rubii.
- Confirm that the relevant data sources are properly integrated with Rubii before initiating auto-mapping.
