Rubii allows tenants to visualise key performance metrics in dashboards using Custom Conversions. These let you group similar conversion actions across platforms into meaningful reporting categories.
Before using Custom Conversions in dashboards, conversion points must be correctly mapped and assigned.
Supported Buying Platforms
Conversion breakdowns are available for:
- Meta
- TikTok
- DV360
- Google Ads
If no conversion points are mapped for the above platforms, conversions will display as 0.
How It Works
Step 1: Map Conversion Points
Map conversion events in the Mapping page. Unmapped conversions will not appear in dashboards.
Step 2: Assign to Custom Conversions
Rubii supports up to 9 Custom Conversions (Custom Conversion 1–9). After mapping, assign each conversion event to one of these fields.
Each Custom Conversion should represent a logical grouping.
Example:
- Custom Conversion 1 = Searches
- Custom Conversion 2 = Purchases
- Custom Conversion 3 = Leads
This allows multiple platform-specific events to roll up into a single grouped metric.
Step 3: Set Primary or Secondary
Each Custom Conversion can be set as Primary or Secondary.
- Primary – Included in the aggregated Conversions metric.
- Secondary – Not included in the aggregated Conversions metric, but still visible in dashboard breakdowns.
Important: The dashboard Conversions metric includes Primary conversions only.
Using Custom Conversions in Dashboards
Once configured, Custom Conversion 1–9 can be used in dashboard widgets and breakdown tables.
- Breakdowns show both Primary and Secondary conversions.
- The aggregated Conversions metric totals Primary only.
Renaming Metrics
Custom Conversion metrics can be renamed in dashboards to match your grouping.
Example:
- Custom Conversion 1 → Searches
- Custom Conversion 2 → Purchases
- Custom Conversion 3 → Leads
Using Custom Conversions in Custom Metrics
Custom Conversions can also be used when building Custom Metrics. Select the Custom Conversion as the metric source, apply your calculation, and use it across dashboards and reports.
