Rubii is a powerful marketing analytics platform that allows you to visualize and analyze your marketing data using graphs. This guide will walk you through how to create and customize graphs, including how to add multiple metrics.
Creating a Graph
Follow these steps to add a new graph to your dashboard and configure its basic settings.
- Open the dashboard you want to edit and click “Create Widget”.
- Click “Graph”.
- An empty graph will appear. On the right-hand side, use the dropdown to change the “Graph Type” and configure other fields.
-
Other fields you can edit include:
- Title: A label for the graph.
- Date Range: The specific time period for the data.
- Criteria: Used to refine the data for focused analysis.
- Breakdown: The method of categorizing data (e.g., by demographic, campaign).
- Series: A sequence of data points.
- Metrics: The key performance indicators (KPIs) you want to track. You can add up to two metrics directly. For more, see the section below on adding a third metric.
- In the Format section, you can enable Annotate data to show data labels directly on the graph.
Adding and Configuring Two Metrics
You can easily add a second metric to a graph for comparison.
- With an existing graph, go to the right side of the page and click the + icon next to “Metric”. Select the second metric you wish to add.
- The new metric will be added to the x-axis. To move it to a secondary y-axis, click on its data label.
- An “Edit Graph” section will appear. Click the dropdown under “VAXIS Location” and select “Secondary”.
- You will see the second metric's axis label transferred to the right side of the graph.
Manually Adding a Third Metric
While Rubii allows for two metrics directly, you can manually add a third metric by editing and re-uploading a CSV file.
- In your graph, click on the downward-pointing arrow and select “Download” to get a CSV file of your current data.
- Open the CSV file and add your third metric data in a new column. In the example below, the red box shows the original data, and the yellow box highlights the manually added data.
- Go back to your graph, click the downward-pointing arrow, and select “Upload”.
- Click “Choose file to upload” and select the edited CSV file from your local drive.
- After uploading, you will see a new line added to your graph. Click on the Format section to enable annotate data if needed.
